Add a user to the Console and sync to GitLab

Provision a new user account through the Console, assign the correct role, and verify that Keycloak SSO propagates the account to GitLab and other integrated tools automatically.

This guide includes:

• Creating a user account in the SmoothGlue Console (PlatformAdmin role required)
• Assigning one of the five RBAC roles: PlatformAdmin, OrgAdmin, OrgPrivileged, OrgUser, PlatformUser
• Triggering Keycloak sync to propagate the account to GitLab, Jira, and Mattermost
• Verifying GitLab group membership matches Console org assignment
• Revoking access and confirming propagation across all integrated tools
• Bulk import via CSV for onboarding multiple users at once
